Horizon VPS Lineup: Official Product Lifecycle Update

Official notice regarding the closure of new Horizon VPS deployments and Oryzen's transition toward independent High-Availability (HA) infrastructure.

Horizon VPS Status Update & Our Shift to High-Availability Infrastructure

If you have checked our storefront recently, you likely noticed that the Horizon VPS plans have been out of stock. Instead of leaving them listed indefinitely, we are making a permanent change to how we handle this specific service tier moving forward.

Here is exactly what is happening with Horizon VPS, how it affects current users, and the hardware we are building to replace it.

Why We Are Closing New Orders

To be completely transparent, the Horizon VPS line was a resold service. The upstream datacenter that actually houses these specific nodes has had zero available stock for over a month.

Waiting around for a third-party supply chain to fix itself does not align with how we want to run our infrastructure. Because we cannot control their stock or guarantee when new capacity will open up, we are officially stopping all new deployments. The Horizon plans have been permanently removed from our website.

What Happens to Existing Customers?

If you currently have an active Horizon VPS running with us, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. Your server is completely safe.

You can keep using your instance and renewing your plan for as long as you need it. Your service will not be interrupted or removed.

Please note one minor restriction: because the upstream hardware is completely tapped out, we can no longer process plan upgrades or downgrades for these existing servers. What you have right now is locked in, but it will remain online and fully functional.

Taking Control: The New HA Architecture

Relying on external datacenters for hardware availability creates bottlenecks. To fix this, we are taking the entire process in-house.

Instead of waiting for Horizon stock to return, our engineering team is actively building a proper High Availability (HA) architecture from the ground up. This time, it will be hosted on our own dedicated racks located in Noida, India.

By owning the hardware, we control the capacity, the performance, and the uptime. We are designing this new platform around Intel Xeon Gold processors to provide the kind of raw power and disaster management that businesses and heavy workloads require.

Next Steps

We are keeping the technical details brief for now. Once the new Intel Xeon Gold HA cluster is ready for deployment, we will publish a dedicated technical breakdown covering the exact specifications, network routing, and pricing models.

We appreciate everyone who supported the Horizon lineup. If you have an active instance and need any assistance, our support team is available as always.
