1. Introduction
Oryzen Hosting ("we," "us," "our") provides infrastructure hosting services to customers worldwide. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the acceptable and prohibited uses of our services. By using Oryzen Hosting services, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to our Terms of Service.
We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Prohibited Activities
You may NOT use Oryzen Hosting services for any of the following activities:
2.1 Illegal Activities
- Violations of Law: Any activity that violates Indian law, international law, or the laws of any jurisdiction where the service is accessed
- Child Exploitation: Any content involving child abuse, exploitation, or illegal imagery
- Fraud & Scams: Phishing, identity theft, financial fraud, pyramid schemes, or deceptive practices
- Illegal Commerce: Sale of illegal goods, controlled substances, weapons, or stolen property
2.2 Network Abuse
- DDoS Attacks: Launching, participating in, or facilitating distributed denial-of-service attacks
- Spam & Unsolicited Communications: Sending bulk unsolicited emails, messages, or comments (spam)
- Port Scanning & Intrusion Attempts: Scanning networks, probing for vulnerabilities, or attempting unauthorized access
- Botnet Activity: Operating or participating in botnets, command-and-control servers, or malware distribution
- IP Spoofing & Packet Forgery: Falsifying source addresses or network packet headers
2.3 Security Violations
- Malware Distribution: Hosting, distributing, or facilitating malware, ransomware, spyware, or viruses
- Exploit Hosting: Hosting exploit kits, vulnerability scanners, or hacking tools intended for malicious use
- Credential Theft: Operating keyloggers, phishing pages, or credential harvesting systems
- Unauthorized Access: Attempting to access other users' services, our infrastructure, or third-party systems without authorization
2.4 Resource Abuse
- Cryptocurrency Mining: Mining cryptocurrencies without explicit written approval from Oryzen Hosting
- Excessive Resource Usage: Consuming resources in a manner that degrades service for other customers (see Fair Use Policy)
- Proxy/Relay Abuse: Operating open proxies, anonymizers, or relays that facilitate abuse
- Torrent/Seedbox Abuse: Using services primarily for torrent seeding without appropriate plan
2.5 Content Violations
- Copyright Infringement: Hosting or distributing copyrighted material without proper authorization
- Hate Speech & Discrimination: Content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics
- Harassment & Threats: Content that threatens, harasses, or intimidates individuals or groups
- Explicit Adult Content: Hosting pornographic or sexually explicit content without proper age verification and legal compliance
2.6 Other Prohibited Uses
- Reselling Without Authorization: Reselling Oryzen services without written approval
- Circumventing Security: Attempting to bypass our security measures, abuse detection systems, or resource limits
- Harassing Staff: Abusing, threatening, or harassing Oryzen staff or other customers
- False Information: Providing false registration information or impersonating others
3. Fair Use & Resource Guidelines
Even services marketed as "unlimited" are subject to reasonable fair use guidelines to ensure quality for all customers:
3.1 Acceptable Use Examples
- Personal websites, blogs, portfolios
- Small business websites and applications
- Development, testing, and staging environments
- Game servers for personal or small community use
- Bot hosting for Discord, Telegram, or automation
- Normal web traffic and API usage
3.2 Potentially Problematic Use
The following may trigger review under our Fair Use Policy:
- Sustained CPU usage above 80% for extended periods
- Excessive bandwidth consumption (>10TB/month on "unlimited" plans)
- High inode counts (>500,000 files) affecting filesystem performance
- Running resource-intensive applications without appropriate plan
- Using services primarily as file storage or backup without hosting active services
3.3 Enforcement Actions
If usage exceeds fair use guidelines, we may:
- Send a warning notification with guidance
- Temporarily throttle resource usage
- Request upgrade to a higher-tier plan
- Suspend service until usage is reduced
- Terminate service for repeated or severe violations
4. Compliance with Indian Law
As an Indian company, Oryzen Hosting requires compliance with Indian laws including:
- Information Technology Act, 2000: Prohibits unauthorized access, data theft, and cyber terrorism
- IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021: Requires removal of unlawful content upon notice
- Copyright Act, 1957: Prohibits unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material
- Indian Penal Code: Prohibits defamation, fraud, hate speech, and other criminal acts
We may be required to disclose user information or remove content upon valid legal request from Indian authorities.
5. Enforcement & Reporting
5.1 Monitoring & Detection
We monitor our network and services for:
- Abuse complaints from third parties
- Automated detection of malicious activity
- Resource usage anomalies
- Legal notices and takedown requests
5.2 Enforcement Process
When violations are detected:
- Investigation: We review the reported activity and gather evidence
- Notification: For minor/first-time violations, we may send a warning with opportunity to remediate
- Action: For severe violations or repeat offenses, we may suspend or terminate service immediately
- Appeal: Customers may appeal enforcement actions by contacting support with additional context
5.3 Reporting Abuse
To report abuse or violations of this policy:

- Include: IP address, timestamps, description of abuse, and any evidence (logs, screenshots)
We respond to all abuse reports within 24 hours and take appropriate action based on severity.
6. Consequences of Violation
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Warning: Notification to cease prohibited activity
- Suspension: Temporary service suspension pending investigation or remediation
- Termination: Permanent account termination with no refund
- Legal Action: Referral to law enforcement or civil litigation for severe violations
- Blacklist: Permanent ban from Oryzen Hosting services
Note: Severe violations (illegal content, DDoS attacks, child exploitation) may result in immediate termination without warning.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Posting the updated policy on this page
- Updating the "Last updated" date
- Sending email notification for significant changes
Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
